Until a few years ago, very little from our silent monasteries penetrated into the world. It is different today. The latest East Timor Update features Br Martinho and Br Angelino, two young East Timorese Carmelites studying in Australia. They have now been in Australia for one year. The first nine months were spent studying English and now they are continuing their theological studies in preparation for Ordination.
