The Elective Chapter of the Carmelite Monastery of Sogliano al Rubicone, Italy, was held 8 August 2020. The following were elected:

• Prioress:  Sr. Marilla Pia Fiumana, O.Carm.
• 1st Councilor:   Sr. M. Vania Spazzoli, O.Carm.
• 2nd Councilor:  Sr. M. Benedetta Benvenuti, O.Carm.
• Director of Novices:  Sr. M. Vania Spazzoli, O.Carm.
• Treasurer:  Sr. M. Eleonora Cicero, O.Carm.
• Sacristan:   Sr. Benedetta Benvenuti, O.Carm.

Through Jesus Christ, Son of the Father and “firstborn of all creation”, we live in union with God and with our neighbours in a new way. And so, we share in the mission of the Incarnate Word in this world, and we form the Church, which is in Christ “as a sacrament - asign and instrument of communion with God, and of the unity of the whole human race.”
